課程發展主任 (全職／兼職）
本中心現誠意邀請對發展中文教育有承擔人士加盟，共同推動學校的中文課程發展，培訓教師成為課程領袖。應聘者須於2012年9月或盡早到任，並以一年合約形式受聘。若雙方同意及資源許可之下，可再續約。
申請人須具以下資歷：
（1）文學士學位，主修中國語文或語文教育或相同學歷；
（2）專業教學資格（如教育証書）；
（3）五年以上中、小學教學經驗，具課程發展經驗；
（4）資訊科技應用經驗，能操作中文電腦。
工作範圍包括：到校支援學校發展中文課程及相關教材；主持教師講座、工作坊；與專家合作，研究中文教與學課題；撰寫研究報告；發展及推介的有效教學模式、設計及參考資料，並開發有關教學資源等。

研究助理

Research Assistant / Senior Research Assistant (holding title of Assistant Assessment Officer / Assessment Officer) , Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER), Faculty of Education (Ref.: USP2012-1) (for 1 year from as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal)
Our Centre is looking for an energetic team player with initiative and enthusiasm to provide quality research support service to investigators and other stakeholders. Applicants should possess (i) Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Social Science or equivalent; (ii) good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (iii) familiar with statistical software (including SPSS) and MS Office application (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.) is a must (iv) experience in educational research is an advantage. Those with postgraduate degree(s) in relevant discipline and concrete research experience will be considered to be appointed as Senior Research Assistant (holding title of 'Assessment Officer').
The appointee will be expected to conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis through research statistical software (such as SPSS) and to write up research reports and research papers.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Annual leave and medical/dental benefits will be provided.

Applicants should possess (i) Bachelor''s degree in Arts, Education or Social Science (major in Psychology) or equivalent; (ii) good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (iii) ability to initiate research project and work cooperatively as a member of a team; (iv) experience in research.
The appointee(s) will work with Principal Investigator and other co-investigators to conduct researches in relation to teaching and learning of Chinese for non-Chinese speaking students; will work with school teachers to implement projects in developing classroom pedagogy of Chinese Language teaching for non-Chinese speaking students; assist professional development programme for teachers; analyze research data; write up research reports and exemplars; and perform other duties as assigned.

Senior Research Assistant / Assistant Research Officer (holding functional title of ‘Project Associate’), Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER), Faculty of Education (Ref.: USP2012-2) (for 1 year from as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal)
Our Centre is looking for an energetic team player with initiative and enthusiasm to provide quality research support service to investigators and other stakeholders. Applicants should possess (i) Research Postgraduate degree in Arts, Education or Social Science (major in Psychology) or equivalent; (ii); good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (iii) familiar with research software such as SPSS, Nvivo, etc; (vi) highly developed administrative and excellent organisational skills together with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers; (iv) is experienced in educational research.
